Marketeers don’t always play nice especially when it comes to compete with their rivals. The brutal brand war comes in form when the direct comparison of one company’s product to another is being done, once the line is drawn then it’s up to them whether to fire back or completely ignore it’s competitor.
Same thing happened with the famous brands like TAPAL and ESPRESSO. Tapal came up with an Ad campaign recently featuring ‘Fawad Khan’ in which the tag line says,
In response to this campaign, Espresso directly hit back with it’s social media post ad;
Espresso, was it really necessary to do this to get your coffee sold?
TAPAL could have stayed quiet, but did it really hit them that bad?
