The most anticipated ICC World T20 game between Pakistan and India will be held on March 19 at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens and before the match, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan will take the stage along with Pakistani music icon Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan.
Both superstars will sing the national anthems of their respective countries.
“Amitabh Bachan will sing India’s national anthem, while Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan will sing Pakistan’s national anthem,” confirmed an official from the Cricket Association of Bengal.
The match has already created lot of attention before the tournament started and being held at the famous Eden Gardens, there is a lot of excitement among the fans from both the countries. We all are really looking forward.
The match was earlier scheduled to be played at Dharamsala but later the venue was shifted to Kolkata due to some security reasons.
Cricket fans and celebrities including many political bodies from Pakistan has confirmed their availability at Eden Garden Calcutta to support Pakistan national team.
