Amir Khan is a versatile actor in the Bollywood industry. He has paired up with the all times big heroines in the industry and always shared the screen with them, but in real life, Amir Khan only fell for two women in his life, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
Before his debut for Qayamat say qayamt tak, he already fell in with her first wife Reena Dutta and without wasting further any time they got married for almost 16 years before they called it to quit.
It was in 2002 when Reena Dutta and Amir Khan got divorced.
But the two have remained cordial ever since. The ex-couple still comes together for family functions and gatherings.
On Karan Johar show Amir Khan exposed about her relation and stated:
”Reena and I were married for 16 years and when we broke up it was traumatic for me, for her and both our families. But we tried to deal with it as best as we could. It did not mean that I lost respect for Reena, or for that matter, I lost my love for Reena. She is a really wonderful person.”
He also added:
”I am lucky that I had the opportunity to be with her for 16 years. That enriched me and we grew up together. We were very young when we got married. I give a value to that and I’m glad that she does too.”
In 2005, Amir Khan again married to Kiran Rao and they two have a son named Azad Rao Khan.
