that has taken place. Amber, long involved in this divorce and domestic abuse case recently had the last nail in the coffin as a Virginia judge dismissed her appeal against the defamation suit filed by Depp.
The actress will now be appearing in the court for proceedings of the $50 million defamation lawsuit and Warner Bros aren’t sure if they want their upcoming film to get bad publicity. According to reports, there’s a strong discussion going on in the studio about taking Amber off the Jason Mamoa starrer.
Another rumor is also making rounds that says that Amber may be completely removed or faces a very limited screen time in all the upcoming DC ventures that the actress was previously expected to be a part of. A formal statement from Warner Bros is however awaited on the subject.
This isn’t the first time that Amber or her ex-husband seems to pay the price for their scandalous divorce through film projects. Earlier it was speculated that Depp might be losing his iconic Captain Jack Sparrow character as Disney contemplated whether to take him onboard for Pirates of the Caribbean or not.
While Jack Sparrow remains to be Depp’s to date, his fans did run a petition to have Amber offloaded from Aquaman 2. Seems like, the petition and the bad publicity is starting to come into play for the actress.
