Amar Khan is a well-known Pakistani television and cinema actress, as well as a director and screenwriter. She rose to prominence as Neelofur in the show Belapur Ki Dayan. Ghughi, Dil-e-Bereham, Choti Choti Batain, and Baddua all featured her in leading parts. She recently appeared on the popular show Har Lamha Purjosh, when Waseem Badami questioned Amar Khan about the harsh criticism levelled at the Hum Style Awards’ clothing code. Waseem asked, “Do you think the criticism levelled at the Hum Style Awards’ dress code was fair?” “Yes, I believe it was completely fair criticism,” Amar Khan responded, “I also learned from it, I also had to face it, some criticisms are really constructive, and I believe it’s really important to keep the people of your locale happy by doing what they want.” Amar Khan responded, “that critique wasn’t fair, let me explain you the back storey of it,” when asked about the accusation of her viral image of sticking out her tongue. “The dress I was wearing at the time was being repaired by my assistant, she was pulling it down, I was short of breath so I opened my mouth,” she continued, “meanwhile, the footage was being caught somewhere and they cut the image from the video.”
