Pakistani artistes working in India has always been an extremely controversial topic. For some, it becomes a matter of self-respect and ego, while others think that it is a moment of pride to see Pakistani superstars on big screens across the border. Nonetheless, we will not indulge into this debate as Shaan Shahid and Ali Zafar had already done this for us, a long time back. In case you missed out, here is the video:
As seen in the video, Shaan criticized Pakistani actors for “easily selling” themselves to the Indian film industry. He took a jab at all the artists who experimented their luck in India by saying that he would never become a sellout for cheap publicity, intensifying his patriotism for the country. While, Shaan has always been held with regards due to his never-ending respect for Pakistan, this comment doesn’t sit quite well with the Tere Bin Ladin actor.
In the same ceremony, Ali Zafar took the example of many big names who earned massive respect across the border; the likes of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Javed Sheikh and more.
Since then, both the industry sensations were never seen together. However, now it seems that both have reconciled their differences, giving us the chemistry of being the best buds again. Don’t believe us? See them jamming together on “Yeh Doosti Hum Nahe Chorein Gay”. Cheesy enough, Right?
Ali Zafar with his vocals and Shaan with the guitar is a delightful combination. Both are definitely giving us major dosti goals!
