After spreading her magic with Balu Mahi, actress Ainy Jaffri is all set to make another mark with her upcoming British film Haraam. Directed by Serge Rashidi Zakuani, Haraam is a story about cultural diversity, ethnic and religious differences. “I play a girl named Layla.
The story revolves around a group of people, belonging to different ethnicities working in a picture framing store, It’s Layla’s last day at work and her [black] best friend, Geo is in love with her. But he is afraid to open up to her because there are tons of cultural, ethnic and religious differences between the two.” She continues, “Geo eventually opens up to Layla, but by the time she is already seeing someone else.”
Haraam is inspired by true life events of the writer and director of the movie, Serge Rashidi Zakuani. She is currently wrapping the shoot and is looking forward for the release. We wish her good luck for this project.
