Ahsan khan is one of the famous male actors of Pakistan, who has always proved himself with his continuous efforts however this time around he is all set for his upcoming short film ‘Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani.’
The short film which has been in the pipeline for nearly three years now, is finally releasing. Its title, however, has now been changed to ‘Moomal Rano’.
The film is an Indo-Pak collaboration which has been penned by Zafar Miraj, directed by Sirajul Haq and produced by Zee TV. While it features Ahsan and Saba in lead roles, the other cast members include Salman Saeed and Zainab Jameel. We got in touch with the director and asked him about the change in the title. “It has a higher recall value and since the story is based on the popular Sindhi folklore Moomal Rano, it made more sense,” he said.
When asked about his experience working with the lead actors, he said, “Ahsan and Saba are wonderful actors and they fit well into their characters. I could see Romeo and Juliet in them. Ahsan knew how to carry the character effortlessly and so did Saba; they’re both the best at their job.”
Moomal Rano is a film about art and culture. It has been shown at various film festivals earlier, and will now be shown in Pakistan too.
