Ahsan Khan is a Pakistani film and television actor, producer, host, philanthropist and performer. He started his career ain 1998, with projects Nikah, Billi, Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Sultanat, Ishq Khuda, Dil Mera Dhadkan Teri and later moved on to television. He hosted a quiz show Hayya Allal Falah on Hum TV in 2011.
Pakistani television has not seen a better drama than Udaari in recent years. Starring an ensemble cast featuring Ahsan Khan, Bushra Ansari, Samiya Mumtaz, Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed, it tackled the taboo and sensitive subject of child abuse that many shy away from. It received critical as well as commercial acclaim in Pakistan and beyond. Udaari openly talked about child abuse and depicted the story brilliantly.
After the immense popularity of Udaari once again Ahsan Khan was back on screen with a project that showed domestic abuse and marital rape. The last two episodes of Qissa Meherbano Ka gave me Goosebumps. The way Ahsan played the role of an abusive toxic man who was abusive and toxic in all his relation is definitely praise worthy. The climax of the drama taught a very good message of how KARMA always bites back and the innocent and honest are given a due reward by God.
