Adnan Siddiqui, who was last seen in Sajal Aly’s Bollywood debut, Mom, wrote a heartfelt note on his father’s second death anniversary.
The actor took to Instagram to share a picture of his father and wrote:
“I miss him, but increasingly, I want to honour him, and his memory.”
“I want to honour him by continuing to better myself in thought and action,” he added.
“I want to honour him by opening up a life of reading and writing to my kids. A life where my kids bring me their notebooks, or stand in front of me, chest proud and eyes twinkling, to read their essays,” said Adnan.
He went on to say: “I want to honour him by continuing my own passion for Urdu poetry. I don’t share my poetry with the world (I already share a lot of myself) but I want to continue writing it till whenever the inspiration stays. It is a small but important thing I do for myself.”
“I want to him honour him by continuing to love. And loving not just people. I want to continue loving my work, loving life, loving music. Papa lived to 90, and he lived a rich, full life by God’s grace. May we all live to accumulate many happy moments.”
May his all wishes come true and may his father rest in eternal peace.
