Koffee with Karan is probably one of India’s most watched talk shows. With every passing season, the show is becoming more and more controversial. There are many stars, like Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor and even Deepika Padukone have got in trouble because of the show.
Similarly, you must have come across the on going debate over nepotism between Kangana and Karan. The season has ended but this nepotism issue is still very fresh, and it’s proof that ‘Koffee with Karan’ is the biggest controversy maker.
However, in a recent AIB podcast, Ranbir Kapoor opened up on how actors are forced to appear on the show.
Revealing that he was forced to attend ‘Koffee with Karan’ this time, Ranbir said that he and Anushka even planned to protest against the show. Without hesitating a bit, Ranbir said:
“I am tired of Koffee with Karan. I was forced this season. I told Karan I don’t want to come in and me and Anushka were actually going to protest and get the film industry together to stop this because it’s not fair. He is making money out of us. We come and we get screwed through the year. It’s not right.”
We have heard a lot of times that Ranbir Kapoor shares really good terms with Karan Johar. Yet, the star didn’t mince his words when he was asked about the show ‘Koffee with Karan’.
On the other hand, Karan Johar is not one of those who will stay quiet after reading such serious accusations. Let’s see how will he react.
