Renowned comedian and veteran actor Ashraf Rahi passed away on Wednesday at the age of 65.
The icon, who’s had a flourishing career for the past four decades as a stage actor, suffered a cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology where he breathed his last.
He had been battling multiple health issues for the past few years, including hepatitis and diabetes.
Rahi’s career includes being in over 3000 plays while many remember him for his work in the ever popular Ainak Wala Jin and Khufiya Jazeera. He also worked in movies such as Mehndi Wale Hath and even did projects out of Pakistan such as the Indian Punjabi Punjab Di Kudi.
