Every year Karachiates get to experience some scrumptious food under one platform. The city has to offer some amazing food and if you’re a foodie then for three days Karachi Eat can be your second home. People visited with their families and would-be family too – Pun intended!
We asked few people about their experience (video will be uploaded soon) – good and bad. The worse that we got about the mismanaged stalls and the good thing that we heard from the people was #KhiEat18 had a lot to offer other than just food – concerts, kids play area and few other activities.
Well, talking about some mismanagement, I’d like to mention, I literally walked for miles to find a good ice cream stall – as I saw a kid enjoying that delicious cone.. umm! Of course, we can’t blame the management for not controlling the crowed – how can you control 50 thousand people at one time, isn’t it our own duty to ‘act’ civilized at such an event?
For a person like me who is always confused about what to eat – the place was a bit strenuous. Like I mentioned, I started my food spree with an Ice cream – then I tried some savory items like Pani Puri, deep fried chicken and then a donut burger from 2 Guys 1 Grill, was actually a clear winner.
Overall, I and my team had a great time, not just good food but seeing so many people making their way to eat and enjoy with their loved ones.
