The ‘Modern Family’ star Sofia Vergara has reportedly topped the Forbes list of the highest-paid actor in the world. The highest-paid actor has only been on the small screen during a time when the theatres have gone dark and the world is struggling to revive the cinema and movies.
Sofia is also hosting the top-rated show, America’s got talent, earning $43 million in the past 12 months in salaries and endorsements. She recently moved up from second place last year. Her career is on a boom right now.
For the final season of Emmy winning ‘Modern Family,’ the actress earned $500,000. The actress is a Colombia born, 48 years old however she still looks ravishing and young. To our surprise, the second place is taken by the famous Angelina Jolie with second place on Forbes at $35 million.
The top 10 highest paid actors made nearly double as much — almost $550 million — in the same period. Last month’s list for the men was topped by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at $87.5 million.
