With the recent monsoon spell in Karachi, there were a lot of things that were observed!
On one side there were those elite class people who took this monsoon rains as a way of enjoyment, they literally took out their boats, attached it to their cars, SUVs drove all around in Karachi, started enjoying themselves.
Also, there was a giraffe spotted in one of the houses in DHA Karachi, enjoying himself in the rain. I mean who in the right mind owns a giraffe in the most famous residential area!!
On the other hand, there are people who were badly affected by these rains, even the newly built houses were badly flooded, roads were filled with water, no electricity for over 72 hours, no wifi, no cellular network. For some people, their whole life came to a complete halt!!
I hope and pray that whoever was affected by this flash flooding is safe now safe and recover from these losses soon enough!!
