14th August has been a day of pride for not only the people associated with its success but also for every single Pakistani that existed and still does. We have been celebrating this day with lots of liveliness and delight because this is the day of success, our success.
People wear green and white because they represent the flag and show support for always being a true Pakistani, they also decorate their houses with flags and again green lights. We experience fireworks and all sort of celebration feels that could happen. I love how different brands come up and do extremely beautiful and thoughtful advertisement relating it to this day like Dettol, Bank Al Habib, Telenor, Head and Shoulder etc.
Celebrities have been uploading pictures in different poses and in different shades of green which out stood them and they managed to look exceptionally charming.
Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor:
My favourite couple on Independence Day went all white and looked beautiful as ever. Ayeza wore a green dupatta of the flag shade which complimented her overall look!
Naimal Khawar Khan:
Don’t have a green dress? So what, look how the very beautiful Naimal posted an independence picture with a flag wrapped around her. Did she take ‘wear the whole flag’ too seriously? Looked pretty though.
Maya Ali:
Maya has been my favourite when it comes to what she wears and how she carries herself. Maya went all white, she looked not just graceful but very cute holding a flag in her hand!
Amna Ilyas:
White is a colour which can never go wrong like I say, white makes everything right. It is a colour of grace and looks beautiful no matter how you pair it. Though, Amna Ilyas pulled off this white dress just fine and held a flag of Pakistan to indicate Independence, freedom.
Hina Altaf:
The trendy couple of Hina Altaf and Agha has been all over the internet for pretty long now. They make a very beautiful couple and both wore green. However, Hina looked super cute in her green Kameez Shalwaar and white dupatta!
It was Pakistan’s 74th Birthday and I’m very proud to be a Pakistani all my years, hope you are as patriotic as I am or more. Always make your country proud and let’s outshine it’s name together!
