The film Superstar’s couple Mahira and Bilal along with their team paid a visit to Twitter Headquarters in the UK, and become the first South Asian actors to visit it.
‘Superstar’ is a film produced by Momina Duraid that is going to be released in a few days that is, on this Eid-ul-Azha. For this reason, we have seen the couple promoting their movie in various countries and cities. They went to Dubai and recently they are in the UK for the promotions as the movie will be released worldwide.
At the Twitter Headquarters, the actors shed light on how the young generation should use social media and its impact on mental health. In conversation with the Barnardo’s Chief Executive, Javed Khanto, Mahira Khan said,
‘’I am delighted to be joining the Barnardo’s family. As a mother myself, I think it’s really important that adults listen to young people and think about how our decisions affect their future. Through my career, I have experienced the highs and lows of social media. I know what a powerful and amazing tool it can be, but I also know how important it is that we do all we can to keep our children safe online.’’
The superstars further made us proud, when they were announced as the international ambassadors for Barnardo’s at this exclusive event.
