5 Home remedies for getting rid of blackheads quick!

Blackheads are a mild type of skin disorder. Dead skin cells and dirt collect in your pores, and if not removed, can turn into blackheads. These bumps appear black because of oxidation and not because of the dirt. Oxidation occurs when the bump is exposed to the external environment.

Blackheads can usually be found mostly on your nose, cheeks, and forehead. However, these bumps can also be found on your neck, shoulders, arms, back, and chest. If not treated properly, blackheads can lead to further acne breakouts.

Below is a few home remedies for blackheads that are fast and actually work.

1.Lemon Juice:

Mix together one tablespoon of salt, half of a teaspoon of lemon juice, and one teaspoon of water. Apply to your face, especially to where blackheads are located or where they tend to pop up.

Begin to gently massage the mixture into your skin using your finger tips for a few minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

2.Cinnamon:

Mix a spoonful of cinnamon powder, lemon juice, and very little amount of turmeric powder. Gently apply it on your entire face and leave for about 10 to 15 minutes before washing your face.

Another mask you make with cinnamon is you add some honey to it and form a thicker paste that you apply to all affected areas. Do this before going to sleep and leave it on throughout the night until morning.

After morning arrives wash the honey and cinnamon off your face. Repeat this daily for about ten days.

3.Egg White Mask:

Whip one or two egg whites until they’re nice and frothy. Using a brush, paint a layer of the egg whites over your face or wherever you want to get rid of blackheads. On top of your egg white layer place some tissue. (I personally find it appropriate to use toilet paper)

To keep the tissue in place, paint on another layer of egg whites and let it sit for 30 minutes.

4. Baking Soda:

Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with a tablespoon of water. Apply the paste on the blackheads and and massage gently. Leave it for about 10 minutes before rinsing it. Use this remedy once or twice a week until your skin is clear.

Alternatively, you can add a tablespoon of granulated sugar and baking soda to two tablespoons of water. Wash your face, and apply the paste on your wet skin. Massage with your fingers and rinse it off with lukewarm water after a few minutes. You can repeat daily until you notice results.

5. Green Tea:

Mix a teaspoonful of dry green tea leaves with water. Gently scrub it over the affected areas for two to three minutes before washing it off with water.

There are many ways to kick them blackheads to the curb. Try one, or all, of these remedies! The choice belongs to you! ENJOY!!
