Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, co-starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjun Bajwa and Arbaaz Khan in key roles, released 10 years back and went on to become a critically acclaimed film. As the film completes a decade today, the filmmaker took to Instagram to share a few of the film’s behind-the-scenes moments.
With a series of photos, Madhur thanked fans and viewers for the love they showered on the film and expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew of the film. His caption read as, “#10yearsofFashion. The filmmaker, in fact, revealed that Fashion 2 is on cards and that he has the concept of Fashion 2 ready with him, reports Hindustan Times. The filmmaker has been quoted as saying, “I have the concept of Fashion 2 ready with me. There are quite a few stories that I have in mind, all inspired from the real world. I always make films based on real life stories that are relevant to the society. So, this time too, I won’t be shifting focus.” He added that while the film is at a very nascent stage and they will start developing the story and script soon.
While Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi, Priyanka is creating waves in the West. Back home, she will feature in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in key roles.
