Karan Johar reveals the cast of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2”!

Karan Johar has been ruling the headlines these days for his popular radio show Calling Karan. From Bollywood celebs to common people, the filmmaker is showering his ‘love gyan’ on everyone who asks for it. Recently, while interacting with a listener on the show, filmmaker Karan Johar revealed that if he ever makes Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2, he would cast actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it.

The 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, his directorial debut, had featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji and turned out to be a blockbuster. Even today fans go crazy about the film’s songs and scenes. There is hardly anyone who doesn’t watch the movie when it comes on the television.

While hosting ISHQ 104.8’s show “Calling Karan Season 2”, one of the listeners asked him about the remake of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and the actors he would choose for the movie, read a statement. Karan replied saying: “If I made ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2’, I would cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are already working together in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film Brahmastra and fans are excited to see them together. The rumours of them dating has further ignited the craze of the fans to watch the film and considering the huge popularity of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it won’t be wrong to say that their chemistry is something to look forward to.

Alia was launched in Bollywood by Karan Johar with his film Student of the Year in 2012. Janhvi also made her acting debut with a film, “Dhadak”, backed by Karan. She will also be seen in Dharma Productions’ multi-starrer project Takht. Ranbir on the other hand, has worked with the filmmaker in films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
