If you are an Instagram freak and have been active on social media recently, then surely you must had come across pictures of this Pakistani star, Mahira Khan interacting with Afghan refugees in Karachi as part of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’ (UNHCR) drive. And if you haven’t, don’t fret because Varun Dhawan certainly did and he is AWE-STRUCK!
It all started when Mahira Khan shared a picture on Instagram of herself posing with two young boys during her visit to Afghan refugee camps in Karachi with their stories.
“These two boys followed me around the whole time. They hadn’t watched any of my films but they insisted they knew someone called Raja,” she wrote. “They said ‘Raja hero hai!’. We kept trying to guess who they are talking about. Finally, they sang a song from @varundvn‘s film. They also said they want to be like him. Told them one day inshAllah they will be”
And then what? Varun Dhawan responded to the actress and commented on her picture saying, “That’s so amazing that you’re doing this work @mahirakhan. I saw the video and it brought a big smile to my face. Sending lots of love, thank you for sharing.”
