Former model and writer Annie Ali Khan was found dead in her apartment on Saturday.
Journalist Hasan Zaidi reported the tragic incident on social media.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Omer Shahid Hamid, she was found with burnt appearance in her appartment in Qasr-e-Zainab near Karachi Gymkhana, further he mentioned that it was an apparent suicide.
He said the body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where doctors confirmed she had died of suffocation (asphyxia).
Annie used to live alone in her apartment. She was a writer and freelance journalist. Her work has appeared in RIC Journal, The Caravan, Vantage, Marie Claire U.S., Herald, Tanqeed, The Asia Society website and other Pakistani publications.
