Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan has been honored by Filmfare indeed. Fawad was honored with the title of Best Cinematic Icon Pakistan/India while Mehwish Hayat received the Pakistan Icon award at a Filmfare occasion held at Bollywood Parks in Dubai last night.
The on-screen actor is in Dubai for relaunch of Filmfare Magazine (Middle East) and keeping in mind that India has restricted Pakistani ability from its film industry, the occasion gave a stage to artistes from the two nations to meet up.
Fawad was the primary Pakistani on-screen character to win a Filmfare grant for Best Debut in India for his first Bollywood film Khoobsurat.
