Padmaavat is following the footsteps of Baahubali 2 in its release

Padmaavat is following the footsteps of Baahubali 2 in its release. The movie is all set to hit cinemas worldwide on January 25. But it will have grand paid-premiere shows all over the country from the evening of January 24th itself.

Padmaavat is perhaps the most anticipated film since Raj Kapoor’s Satyam Shivum Sunderam. The frenzy that has been incited by some fringe groups, the threats and abuses, the violence and the virulence have whipped up the nation’s appetite.

In the recent past, the only big movie to have such huge number of shows was only Baahubali 2. It showed the confidence of the makers in the product. Now, Padmaavat unit also following the same has developed a widespread interest in the movie. Of course, the prolonging controversy was anyway going to be enough.

Padmaavat is a proud majestic anthem to the valour and pride of the Rajput community. Every frame, every movement exudes a nationalist fervor, a sense of unbridled pride and joy though without a trace of arrogance in being Indian.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has directed this epic period treat starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. It has been the most controversial biggie in Indian cinema in the past couple of decades.
