Best travel Instagram accounts you need to follow in 2018

Who doesn’t love travelling and capturing the moments and save them with them forever? A decade ago it was difficult to travel the globe by simply posting a photo but Instagram has made our lives easier and full of fun. 

Here are some of our favorite travel-based Instagram accounts that you must follow and they will get your wanderlust hearts fluttering.

*MINI ANNOUNCEMENT* – guys, we are going to try to add a bit more context to our posts so they can be informative and hopefully act as more of a guidebook for you guys. What are your thoughts? The picture you see on your timeline is often only a small fraction (usually best bit) of the experience and therefore might not be all that helpful in planning an adventure. – This picture of The Taj Mahal is a great example of this. Although this moment was indeed a magical, awe inspiring experience, the picture doesn’t tell the whole story. – The Taj is located 4 hours south of Delhi in the city of Agra. Now Agra is a particularly loud, noisy and dirty city and of the 24 hours we spent there we enjoyed just two… and they were spent admiring this magical building. Our advice for those planning the trip is be prepared for the mayhem! Wake up early and get there for sunrise that way you will minimise crowd battling. If you are travelling on a budget you are going to have to be prepared to work for your bucket list moment… it is not all roses but definitely worth it!

This image was taken last summer after an uncommon heavy snowfall that day in the French Alps. I don’t know how often one gets to see the Lac Blanc unfrozen yet surrounded by snow, but I feel like we’ve been pretty lucky that evening. 24 hours later, all the snow was gone already. #peaksofeurope Shot for @icebreakernz

The tail end of fall at Snow Lake. It’s crazy to think that the trailhead to this lake is precisely 1 hour away from the bustle of downtown Seattle- makes a quick jaunt up here the easiest thing to do..
