Mahira Khan’s “Verna” banned in Pakistan

According to latest gossips and news, Mahira Khan’s upcoming flick has been banned across the nation by CBFC Islamabad.

The Central Board of Film Censors Islamabad state that the movie is not decent for the audience to view after which the movie will be going under a complete screen test with full board now.

The movie was all set to premier today in Lahore with a star studded opening, later in Islamabad tomorrow and Karachi the day after. While denying rumours about the ban being a publicity stunt by the film makers, PR team lead Samra Muslim said, “….and while half of my team were distributing invites, we called the censor board to do this…”

Further adding, “How will any cinema run a film without a censor certificate?”

With a sudden call of ban on the movie, we all are waiting what Shoaib Mansoor and Mahira Khan have to say on this action by the censor board.
