Abdul Sattar Edhi has been an iconic figure known for helping orphans and the poor for as long as we can remember. Abdul Sattar Edhi started his Edhi Foundation with Rs 5,000 only, years back and is now running the world’s largest charity house with the largest ambulance service, operating free nursing homes, orphanages, clinics, women’s shelters and rehabilitation centres for drug addicts and mentally ill individuals.
Today as we all know that it’s the 1st of January, 2016, it’s also Abdul Sattar Edhi’s birthday. FHM Pakistan wishes Abdul Sattar Edhi a very Happy Birthday. May Allah give him long life with health and happiness.
