Shaan Shahid’s Arth includes Shaan himself, Humaima Malick, Mohib Mirza and Uzma Hassan. The film circle around the lives of these characters – the paths they choose and the destinations they reach, and how, in this trajectory, their lives evolve.
“I have put my heart and soul into making this movie for it was a challenge to make a romantic film after so many years,” Shaan said in a statement. “I view the forthcoming film as an opportunity to strengthen the film fraternity of the two countries.”
What we’ve gathered from the trailer so far is that Shaan plays the role of a singer called Ali who returns to Pakistan from the UK to make a professional comeback. Mohib Mirza will be seen as Umar, a filmmaker who’s married to Uzma Hassan’s character, also called Uzma, a writer by day, Ali’s fan girl by night. Then we’ve got Humaima in full diva mode.
Extremely relatable and thought-provoking, the promo gives a sneak-peak into what’s in store for us. All the characters emit emotional vibes and seem to be possessed by diverse tendencies.
