Malala Yousuf Zai is the name which changed the map of Swat. Though we all are aware of how she was forced to leave her studies, but she fought with the extremist groups and declared herself as a winner.
Gul Makai, a biopic on Malala’s life is in the works in Bollywood and the first look has finally been revealed. Keeping the originality, the lead actress Reem Sheikh looks somewhat exactly like Malala. Reem Sheikh, who was previously seen in Amitabh Bachchan’s Wazir, has also been seen in TV dramas like ‘Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.’ She joined Divya Dutta (who plays her mother) and the late Om Puri in the film’s cast.
The movie is being produced by Anand Kumar and directed by Amjad Khan. It is slated to release next year.
