Here is a recap of what happened at FPW15. This Fashion week lost its ethnicity, thank God Nilofer Shahid saved it. Let us start of with the management, never have I seen such mismanagement. The choreography was influenced by all previous seen international shows (missed you Sheru 🙁 ) and yes, so many unwanted (who’s who) dazzled the red carpet scaring away all international buyers and press and one second?! I fail to understand this lobby system; when will it end?
Let us talk about the red carpet which was black and yellow with maybe just maybe a hint of red here and there not to forget DJ Asif and Sabby played the beats well no doubt Ho Man Jahan was in full swing but social media was only social without media.
Delphi was more like Elfy to the ramp that nobody took a single selfie with. Tena Durrani was so thand-ani, her collection was more like Rabi centre jaani. Nevertheless there were some people who are worth praising lets start of with Naumans collection-The legacy, it was as superb as expected wish… models line up could have been better. Hisham Malik was promising, I have one word for Shehla’s Collection “AMA-ZING” and do not forget Maheen Karims collection, I have no words for her, she executed her creativity so well. Superb job!
Yet again Amna Ilyas, Mahwish Hayat, Ahsan Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Ayesha Omer, Zhalay Sarhadi, Zoe Viccaji, Zeb, Aijaz Aslam, Faisal Qureshi and Wiqar Ali Khan were the rockstars of the event.
On Finale day 3 halls were found empty, even the front rows were not filled. Well, this is just my point of view maybe you have different views. I just wanted to put my thoughts into words and share my experience. Adios..
