Be yourself, people will judge you anyway!

It does not matter how you choose to live your life, whether you want to get married or not, have children or choose not to, whether you build a business or work in a corporate job, do good or bad, travel the world or not – whatever you do, someone somewhere will judge you. They even judge you on your appearance. Your height, complexion, weight, accent and WHAT NOT.
For one reason or another, someone will find a reason to project their insecurities, their negativity and their fears onto you and your life, and you’ll have to deal with it.

keeping that in mind, let’s talk about being judged and criticized. And just for fun I’ll share some hateful comments that I received from people in my life.

When I got into Asian institute of fashion design for my bachelors- one of my very own relative said “JISKA KAHEEN ADMISSION NAHI HOTA WO FASHION DESIGNING MEI CHALA JATA HAY” Funny, right?

and here’s another one..
“ITNI PATLI HO KUCH KHAYA KARO” and when I finally gained some weight..“KIA KHAATI HO MOTI HOGAI HO”

or..
When I hangout with boys, they say… “YEH TOU LARKON KE SATH GHUMTI HAY, LARKI SAHE NAHI HAY” acha aunty, mujhe nahi pata tha mere larkon ke ghumney se ap insecure hoti hain.

and lastly, when I wear heels, they say.. “ITNI LAMBI HO TUMAIN HEELS PEHNAY KI KIA ZARURAT HAY”. Sorry behen jee, next time aapse poochke pehnungi.

So these are some funny comments I get from people around me and guess what? I really don’t care because people won’t ever stop talking. And trust me, knowing when someone is judging you -Positively or Negatively- It will become an opportunity for you to grow stronger.
SO JUST WEAR YOUR HEELS, FLIP YOUR HAIR, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND LET THEM TALK!
