“IPL. You got world players. Afghanistan makes debut. My plea is please consider Pakistani players. Phir match hoga! Hum bade log hain. Please!” said Rishi in his tweet.
The actor wants authorities to have a big heart and invite players from Pakistan to participate in IPL. He praised the existence of foreign players and debut of Afghanistan in the league too.
Pakistani players have featured in the Indian Premier League’s inaugural season in 2008 and after that none of the players participated, as they were barred and withdrawn from their franchise teams.
Let’s see what the authorities have to decide now, it is for sure that Rishi Kapoor must have seen how our players performed in PSL and what a successful tournament it was. If Pakistani players participate in IPL, it surely is going to be an amazing tournament.
