Paul Burrell, the former butler of Princess Diana, has claimed that she still appears regularly in his dreams. He further said that she asks for his help to tell the world that she is still alive and good as young, as she used to be.
While talking to an international publication, he said:
“I want Diana to say to me “It’s OK, Paul, live the life you’ve chosen’. But she’s not here, so all I have got is here in my dreams.
“She tells me things. It’s not scary or flaky, it just happens.
He further said that the encounters that he has in his dreams feel so real and actual that they transport him back to the time of Kensington Palace, where he once used to live.
“She comes to me on a regular basis. It just happens. We have no control over our subconscious and I go to sleep sometimes thinking ‘Please don’t come into my dreams’ but then she appears.
Mr. Burrell was a close confidante of Princess Diana, and they had an affectionate relationship with each other.
“She’s asking ‘Can you help me?’ It’s a cry for help sometimes and then at other times we’re sharing fun and laughter.
“She’ll say ‘When are you going to tell them, Paul, that I’m not actually dead?’”
“And I say ‘We’ll put it off for another day. They’re not ready for it. We’ll wait.'”
Though Mr. Burrell’s dreams are a kind of creepy, but it is natural even after years and years to see someone who has such a close and affectionate bond with you. As Princess Diana was the first one to acknowledge and find out about Burrell’s homosexuality, this is why he still remembers her in his dreams.
