Actress Deepika Padukone is more than happy at the success of her debut Hollywood film “xXx: Return of Xander Cage“.
The 31 year-old, who was recently spotted at a promotional event, shared how heartening it was to see Indian audiences embrace her debut Hollywood project.
“What really got me emotional was the way India embraced the film. Everything I did in the movie, the performance or the way I spoke, were very well received and that made me really happy. To step out of your comfort zone and work in a territory, you are unfamiliar with and to see that translate into this kind of love and appreciation, it makes me feel like it is worth taking all of those risks,”
Deepika Padukone’s success story is an inspiration to those who want to get into modelling and movies without a God-father.
