The blue-eyed tea-seller, Arshad Khan aka ‘chai wala’, took the Pakistan’s entertainment industry by storm. Following the social media hype, everyone began capturing his pictures and in no time Arshad khan became the new madness in the country. His blue eyes, fair complexion and a composed personality is what made this boy, a man of flamboyant persona.
After starring in the eponymous track ‘Chaiwala’ by Lil Mafia Mundeer, Arshad appeared in another music video and this time he has been approached by a singer/actor Muskan Jay, who has signed him for her upcoming single ‘Teri Bayparwaee.’
Look at the irony; at first Arshad Khan clearly said, “movie drama mae kaam karne ka socha nahi kyunke ye humare khandaan mae nahi hai. Koi saaf-suttra, gairat wala kaam mile tou kare gay, lekin filmay dramay ka socha nahi. Na karte hai, na kare gay.” And now, well you can witness it yourself;

Gone is the traditional and unassuming Pashtun attire in which he arrived. Shooting for a video with such striking poses is really why he was getting such a hype?
I hope that people will come to realize the value of honouring traditional ways and culture, because this is something we should take pride in and we should protect it from getting lost and forgotten.
