Ae Dil Hai Mushkil soon to release…but with these conditions

After a meeting held by the Maharashthra Chief Minister with, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil filmmaker, Karan Johar and MNS Chief Raj Thackeray it was decided that the movie will release on October 28, but with some conditions attached.

Mukesh Bhatt president of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India also joined the meeting; held on Saturday, at the chief minister’s residence. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Karan Johar said, that “I assured the government that I will not work with Pakistani artists anymore,” the Times of India reported.

Bhatt added that “Karan Johar had also offered to run a slate honoring Indian soldiers killed in the Uri Attack before the movie”.

Raj Thackeray called the decision which came in the meeting as a win-win situation for him. He said that “Each film which has cast a Pakistani artist will contribute Rs 50 million to the Army welfare fund. Also filmmakers will give a written letter confirming that they would no more cast Pakistani artists”.

The movie agitated controversy as it casts Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

Indian government is doing every single thing to ban our artists, but in Pakistan only ban on Indian channels and movies won’t help. There are still advertisements that broadcast Indian actors. Recently, Nargis Fakhri was seen in Master Paints TVC. Why are we still showing Indian actors in our commercials? PEMRA should ban these TVCs too and fine those who approach and cast Indian actors in our commercials or films.
