  • How to Be Single

This movie depicts around a girl named ‘Alice’, who is tired of living with her boyfriend, she breaks up with him and moves in with her older sister ‘Meg’. She finds a new job and a new friend, Robin. Robin turns out to be a passionate fan of rocking at night and tries to bring timid Alice into her insane life. This romantic comedy is a must watch for both men and women.

This is the life story of one of the most brilliant minds of the world whose name is familiar to everyone. Steve Jobs was an effective leader, a great businessman, and an excellent entrepreneur. He devoted all his time to his job and did his best in everything. But few people know the difficulties he had to face before Apple became a world leader.

 

  • The Sea Inside (2004)

There are movies that make you a bit more mature when you watch them. This movie is one of them. They took very hard and controversial topic, but presented in such a manner that you understand both the sides and agree it. This movie is a winner of an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, it tells the true story of a man who spent 28 years campaigning for the right to end his own life. Now you get why I said it was a hard topic, right? It’s a heart-wrenching watch to say the least, but thanks to a perfect performance from Javier Bardem, the complex story gains such a big grasp that it ends up having uplifting and even funny moments as well.

 

  • People Places Things (2015)

When comedians get a bit older they do a movie with “emotions” in it. People Places Things is exactly that, a funny yet heartfelt comedy. Will Henry, A New York City graphic novelist walks on his girlfriend with whom he has twins cheating on him on the twin’s birthday party. A year later, Will is struggling to define his new life as a single parent while still getting over his breakup. Smart, honest, and charmingly led by Jemaine Clement, this film will strike you in its simplicity.

 

  • Beginners (2010)

Beginners is an American romantic comedy, the series of flashbacks narrating the story of Oliver and his complicated and difficult relationship with his father. The film is gorgeously heartbreaking, it demonstrates how hurtful we are to those we love, while showing the ties of mutual need that bind people. In a way, it also takes on the process of finding one’s happiness, through the character’s eyes and his father’s, what that process has in common for both, and how one is inspired from the other. This movie is beautiful, funny, interesting, and above all very enjoyable.
