Playboy magazine, for the first time is featuring a Muslim woman wearing a hijab, which is drawing attention to both praise and criticism.
Playboy’s October “Renegades” edition is a series that focuses on men and women who risks everything to do what they love.
Playboy describes Tagouri as a woman on the road to becoming the first hijab-wearing news anchor, calling her a badass activist with a passion for demanding change and asking the right questions.
The 22-year-old, is featured wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, sneakers and a headscarf in the publication, which describes her as “a bad ass activist.”
