Being a journalist, I always highlight the problems of youth. I, recently, came across this surprising statement from a girl, Sana Ayub. Ms. Ayub in her lengthy accusation stated that she has been threatened by the driver of an international private transportation company that is operating in Pakistan.
Ms Ayub describes her situation as; when she called for a pick-up from the transportation company the driver didn’t reach the exact place he was called for. When the former told him to reach the exact location; the driver reacted in a harassing manner.

As a female, she was naturally frightened and still is. Sana won’t feel relaxed and comfortable while going out, alone.
Being a writer, I think of it as my responsibility to spread the word against the driver. I, myself, am contacting the company to take their statement and inform them about the allegations imposed on the driver. If proper measures aren’t taken by the concerned civic authorities, then such problems will keep on persisting with the women of Pakistan and they won’t feel comfortable, while, travelling alone.
