Pakistan demands an apology from Indian Film Industry

Sindh Minister for culture Sardar Ali Shah strongly reacted to the film “Mohenjo Daro” directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

He asked the director to write an apology for misrepresenting facts about Mohenjo Daro. Shah said that this film has made a scorn of highly urbanized culture of the 5000-year-old civilization.

According to Shah, the movie portrays nothing but creation of imagination of directors and movie had nothing to do with history of Mohenjo-Daro. He added that the world had widely recognized the importance of the heritage sites of Sindh, which was marked from the fact that Makli cemetery and Mohenjo-Daro had been included in the list of international heritage sites.

We Pakistani strongly agree with Sardar Ali Shah and we want the director to write an apology letter for misrepresenting facts about Mohenjo Daro.
