SAZGAR Engineering Works has reached a groundbreaking milestone in Pakistan’s automotive history with the production of 10,000 locally assembled hybrid vehicles. This achievement is not only a proud moment for SAZGAR but also represents a key turning point for the nation’s automotive sector. The celebration centered around the Haval Decemilia—the 10,000th Haval vehicle to come off the production line, symbolizing the company’s dedication to innovation.
In partnership with Great Wall Motors (GWM), SAZGAR has transformed the market by offering Pakistan’s most extensive lineup of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). From the petrol-powered Haval Jolion to the futuristic electric ORA O3 and sports EV ORA O7, SAZGAR is leading the charge toward a more sustainable future. Their Haval H6 HEV has dominated the market in 2023-24, solidifying SAZGAR as a major player in Pakistan’s evolving automotive landscape.
This milestone of producing 10,000 vehicles is especially remarkable considering the challenges of a market that has faced significant downturns in recent decades. As pioneers of hybrid-electric technology in Pakistan, SAZGAR continues to elevate its lineup, including the anticipated Tank 500 hybrid. This achievement positions SAZGAR and GWM as leaders with the largest NEV lineup in the country.
The celebratory event at SAZGAR’s assembly plant was nothing short of grand, attended by notable figures such as the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, dealership partners, and the dedicated SAZGAR team. The unique launch sequence impressed all those in attendance, showcasing SAZGAR’s forward-thinking approach.
Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Chief Guest, applauded SAZGAR’s bold innovations and pledged the government’s continued support in advancing automotive technologies. The event also honored key team members with awards for their critical contributions to this outstanding success.
This is just the beginning—Pakistan’s automotive industry is on the verge of an electric revolution, and the future has never looked brighter!
