Sonam kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding is all over the internet today and you don’t even need to ask why!
Sonam tied the knot with businessman Anand Ahuja in a traditional Sikh ceremony this morning at her aunt’s Bandra bungalow. She wore a fabulous lehenga by Anuradha Vakil festooned with a spectacular choker and a necklace along with matching mathapatti and jhumkis. Anand Ahuja complemented her in a gold sherwani with a ruby red mala.
Sonam not only looked like the perfect bride with her perfect groom and her perfect family by her side, even her wedding venue was a perfect match for all the perfection around her.
The couple exchanged their vows not at a lavish five-star hotel but at the beautiful home of Sonam’s aunt in Bandra, Mumbai. The house hosted the biggest names in Bollywood and was decked up in beautiful blue and white upholstery in the garden area for the traditional Sikh wedding, Anand Karaj.
A bevy of Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sonam’s colleagues Swara Bhasker and Kareena Kapoor and her best friend Jacqueline attended the ceremony in the morning along with the family members.

The Ahujas and the Kapoors will also host a reception for the newly-weds in Mumbai’s The Leela tonight. The reception is expected to have more Bollywood-wallahs on the guest list.
After her wedding, Sonam will be seen in Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. She will also be seen at the Cannes Film Festival later this week to represent L’Oreal.
