Shayan Khan Farooqui who is commonly known with his stage name Shayan Khan is making his grand movie debut with the upcoming rom-com Na Band Na Baraati which is releasing on Eid-ul-Fitr. Although to most people out there, Shayan Khan may be a new name but this young lad has been working hard towards his dream since many years.
We all know that Shayan is a calculated mix of an introvert and extrovert but there are a lot of other things that the Pakistani public doesn’t know about this newcomer. So today we have made a list of 5 interesting things that we believe everyone should know about Shayan Khan.

As a kid, Shayan has travelled to over 50 countries. As at that time his father was working as a Chief Engineer for the Civil Marine, so he has spent a lot of his childhood going from one place to another.

Khan isn’t new to acting. In fact, he started acting at a very young age. It was the stage of St.Michael’s Convent School which made him realize that he wanted to be an actor.

Shayan took his acting passion to the next level and got himself enrolled in the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute of Film and Television Acting in 2012.

Shayan Khan won the award of Mr. Pakistan World in 2013. In that same competition, he also won the award for Mr. Personality.

It is no secret that Shayan is quite choosy about his acting projects, so in 2016, he finally signed his first feature film ‘Na Band, Na Baraati’ which is hitting the cinema screens all over the country on Eid-ul-Fitr.
If you’re living under the rock, so we must tell you that the teaser of Na Band Na Baraati is out now and from the looks of it, it does look like something to watch out for. The one minute teaser is full of comedy, romance and great music. Alongside Shayan Khan, Na Band Na Baraati stars Mikael Zulfiqar, Qavi Khan, Atiqa Odho and Ali Kazmi among others. The movie’s tagline is ‘the confused wedding of the year’. The movie revolves around the wedding of two brothers who belong to a typical Pakistani family living in Toronto.
Zashko Entertainment is producing the movie while PR agency Jellyfish is looking after the marketing and PR of Na Band Na Baraati.
As they say that all good things come to those who wait, so we must patiently wait for this rom-com Na Band Na Baraati.
