From the iPhone XS Max to the new Sony PlayStation or new machine VertuoPlus Nespresso and everything in between, this is our pick of the week’s coolest things.
Adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2 Triple White
Kanye West’s sneakers have sold out instantly, but, after cutting ties with Nike and signing a major deal with Adidas in 2013, West promised that everyone who wanted a pair of Yeezys would eventually get their hands on a pair. And in his latest drop, which launched today, with the number of pairs in stock rumored to be upwards of one million.
PlayStation 1 by Sony
Small but mighty, Sony announced a miniature re-creation of the original PlayStation console earlier this week. Around half the size of the original, the console is the first of Sony’s video game machines to be given this kind of compact makeover. Pre-loaded with 20 iconic games, including Final Fantasy 7, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Jumping Flash, buyers will also receive two classic PS1 controllers with the console.
VertuoPlus Nespresso machine
Waking up on a Saturday morning, lazily pressing a single button and, within seconds, holding a frothy cup of perfect coffee, using Nespresso’s newly launched Master Origin coffee pods. The only issue is, you’ll want to use your VertuoPlus machine so much this little luxury might eventually become mundane, so don’t overdo it.
Amazon Echo Plus
As smart as they are, they’ve not really had the audio chops to make your music sound amazing. Until last year’s Echo Plus came along, sounded great and resembled something of an eyesore. Thankfully, the latest Echo Plus has had a softer, fabric-covered makeover and looks all the better for it. Pre-order one now and you’ll get a Philips Hue light bulb bundled in with it.
IPhone XS Max
It’s the iPhone XS Max they’re wafting in your direction, then drinks should most definitely be on them. With a whopping great 6.5in OLED screen, the XS Max is the biggest iPhone Apple’s made yet. Naturally, it’s also the most expensive, with prices starting from £1,099.
