Movies that will help you deal with breakups

Never give up, and be confident in what you do. There may be tough times, but the difficulties which you face will make you more determined to achieve your objectives and to win against all the odds. You’re going to go through tough times – that’s life. Nothing happens to you, it happens for you. See the positive in negative events. God already knows what we’re made of, but perhaps He wants us to learn what we’re made of. I think we would all agree that we learn more from our tough times than from our easy times.

Here is a list of movies that will help you deal with such times.

The fault in our star

The Fault in our stars, comes from a line in Shakespeare’s play in Julius Caesar where Cassius says, “The fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars, / But in ourselves, that we are underlings.” Cassius seems to be saying that it’s not fate that dooms men, but instead their own failings. There are many examples around us who makes us realize the importance of pain in our lives. The movie shows us that togetherness is not the only way to love someone. Time heals everything, we just have to take time to heal.

A beautiful mind

What happens when works makes you insecure? This is one movie set in the tough time period of the Nobel Laureate John Nash (Russell Crowe), who experiences paranoia as a result of his tough job. This movie shows how true love can cure the greatest of afflictions.

Begin Again (2013)

Breakups are those phases that give us time to focus on ourselves. The movie tells us that breakups bring a profound change in the way we think and bring us closer to ourselves. It tell us that everything happens for a reason and we should have faith in ourselves.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)

An eraser can rub off the graphite but not the impression, that is the closest description one can give you without giving it all away. After a painful breakup, Clementine undergoes a procedure to erase memories of her former boyfriend Joel from her mind. When Joel discovers that Clementine is going to extremes to forget their relationship, he undergoes the same procedure and slowly begins to forget the woman that he loved. The movie explores the intricacy of relationships and the pain of loss.
