Some people believe that wearing the right gear or equipment will help them win competitions, but this girl defied all odds even without all those fancy sports gears!
An 11-year-old girl recently went viral after she won multiple gold medals for her school’s sports festival and she used nothing but pure talent… and bandages!
Rhea Ballos from the Salvacion Elementary School in Balasan, Iloilo won first place in running competitions with no sports shoes on, but only bandages to wrap her feet and a little “logo” and brand name to get her win.
She managed to win in the 400, 800 and 1,500-meter run in the inter-school sporting event’s girls’ categories.
Netizens were inspired by the girl’s dedication and hard work despite having no proper running shoes and she even got the attention of American brand Titan’s founder and Alaska Aces head coach.
