10 steps to a calmer mind

  1. Walk: it helps clear the mind and offers you a different perspective. 
  2. Indulge: take a say off to do exactly what you like even if it means just laying in bed and relaxing. 
  3. Generosity: giving always makes the heart feel soft and fizzy inside even if it means just giving a smile to a stranger. 
  4. Observe: sit in a coffee shop or park and just soak in your surroundings. Focus on sights and sounds. 
  5. Educate yourself: research, explore and learn about new things. The world is full of exquisite things that one can find interest in. 
  6. Prepare: make a list of things that you gave to accomplish for the next day, it helps you mentally prepare for it. 
  7. Strength: write down 20 things that make you strong. 
  8. Move forward: life is all about stepping forward and not dwelling on the past. Being stagnant doesn’t serve you. 
  9. Revisit an old hobby: if you don’t have one, create one. 
  10. Prioritise: decide what’s important and learn to say no to extra obligations.
