When it comes to Pakistan, No one can beat us in our skills especially our hardworking and hidden talents. Be it a singer or an engineer we have always impressed not only in our country but outside too.
Last night I was with my pathan friends chilling around and was laughing around on their lame jokes, as Pathans are actually famous for their lame jokes but to be honest they made me realize how they had actually made Pakistan proud by their talents. And that made me to write up a blog. Where I have gathered all the pathans that deserve to be mentioned here.
1) Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan
We can’t thank him enough for whatever he has done for us. Well, we all are indebted to this Pathan. If it weren’t for Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pakistan would have been long lost in the pages of history after 9/11. It was him who increased the sovereignty of our country by making our nuclear weapons.
2. Boom Boom Afridi
Our Afridi is on the top of the list when it comes to cricket, Well, you must know he is a Pathan. Of the seven fastest ODI centuries of all time. Proud moment for us!
3. Jahangir Khan
4. Saba Khan
They are not just into sports – the first ever female pilot is a Pathan too.
5. Marina Khan
We all know Marina Khan as the beautiful and talented actress from Tanhayiaan.
6. Fawad Khan
The Khans have always dominated the TV industry and Fawad Khan is no exception. He has now made his debut in Bollywood and is ruling everyone’s heart there.
7. Imran Khan
Imran Khan was the reason we brought the first ever Cricket World Cup home. And now he has proved to be a true leader too.
8. Naiza Khan
A very talented visual artist, Naiza Khan was awarded the Prince Claus Award in 2013. She is known for her incisive work that examines the crucial paradoxes of the Pakistani Society.
9. Maria Toorpakai Wazir
The #1 Squash Player in Pakistan at the moment, Maria Toorpakai Wazir has certainly made us all proud. She is not any ordinary Khan but a Khan hailing from Waziristan, one of the most conservative regions in the country and belongs to a traditional tribal family where girls are denied more than primary education.
10. Rosheen Khan
She is another Khan that has received the limelight. She is Pakistan’s first female scuba diver and the only Nitrox diving instructor in Pakistan.
11. Amir Khan
The world boxing champion needs no introduction. Well, if you haven’t noticed earlier, he is a Pathan!
