After the spread of the news over social media, the police are now investigating on the reports regarding the sale of the one-month-old baby girl on eBay.
According to the advert on eBay, the baby named Maria is from a Duisburg, a city in west Germany’s state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The infant is put up on a sale of 5,000 Euros (£4,500).
However, the listing was removed by eBay within 30 minutes, after it went viral on social media. Apparently, online users were quick to condemn the post and reported it to eBay officials, immediately.
