Trailer for Pakistan’s first hand drawn anime film, The Glassworker, is out and we can’t get over it!

Usman Riaz, a composer turned animator, had put up his dream anime project on Kickstarter for crowdfunding. Now, it seems like he is finally getting into the right direction.

Riaz has finally released the trailer of his film’s prologue and it is definitely a masterpiece. Going by the name of “The Glassworker”, it is Pakistan’s first hand drawn anime film produced under the banner of Mano Animation Studios.

The Glassworker revolves around the story of a young boy named Vincent, who is mastering in the art of glassblowing from his own father. As he grows older, he begins to understand the true meaning of life and fells in love with a young girl Alliz.

What will happen next, remains to be seen. But this 25-year-old young artist, Usman Riaz, who did all the animation himself deserves lot of encouragement and appreciation. We can’t wait to see the complete film. Here is the trailer of the prologue released;
